Diagnosis: Nostalgia
Treatment: New game
If symptoms persist please try a new game.
Edit - Maybe im being cold...
Look theres a tonne of content that is only to be found in 0.0, exploration did not break the 0.0 plexes either it just removed Red Alliances ability to camp access to them 24/7. Exploration redistributed access to 0.0 plexes to give all in 0.0 a chance to get them. Drops and rewards in 0.0 sites vastly dwarf the rewards from low/high sec. Mission running in 0.0 is more profitable too, with pirate implants and faction ship bpc's.
I do think lvl 4 missions drop TOO MUCH loot, if anything.

I would love to take my transport ship there and go trade, but since I can't enter player owned stations or use the pirate stations (thx CCP for missions giving me bad standing which I can never redeem), why bother? Please get it right, make it worth taking risks.
I seriously don't get why CCP doesn't see it: riches in 0.0, most risk <-> poverty in highsec, safety. Yes there will be whining at first, but that's what people do: trying to get the most profit with the least amount of effort. Read an economics book ffs or at least Brzezinski's "The Grand Chessboard"
0.0 as it is reminds me of Africa; a barbarian wasteland, where big corps mine to get the big profits and the rabble shoot each other into poverty.
Actually the african analogy for 0.0 is apt and is unavoidable in RL so what makes you think CCP can change the way human beings choose to interact with their environment on an economic scale? People always seek to oppress others for economic gain, it's how economic gain is generated...
Modern economics is the Lord/Peasant system, just with faceless Lords and more numerous peasants with shiny objects that they don't actually need.
That sounds like what Malcanis was complaining about, Huh funny this art imitating life imitating art thing, wouldn't you say?

I'm not even going to advocate removing them - there are far too many greedy little piglets sucking on the sugar-tit who would squeal far too loudly for that to happen. So I just abuse them myself now. Worked up the ISK for a couple of faction BS, full set of skillbooks for my alt to fly a Thanatos, a Thanatos, and a billion ISK cash in pocket just idly running a few level 4s after work. Took 2 months or so.
As soon as my alt finishes training those books - about a billion ISK worth, I might add - she'll be adding yet another carrier to the cap blob my alliance can bring.
All acquired in perfect untouchable safety. Thank you very much. Reached "endgame" ship in just 2 months of casual grinding in the "safe" area of the game.
OOOOOO shiny stuff you don't need generated in the safety of the "west". Also that carrier could be primary then there is 2 months of casual grinding gone...so how is the mechanic broken?

Ain't that the truth.

Either numbers mean nothing, or they mean something. You can't have it both ways.
No, it's not all about skill points. A group of 20 versus a group of 1 is unbalanced, right? I was in that group of 20, and the 1 got away. We were camping a gate, and managed to not decloak a curse before he was able to crawl back to the gate and jump back to the previous system.
Quote: And it's my job to make us more equal than you; teamwork, effort and tactics are far more important than some silly number as ingame age.
By the same token, if you don't have the skill points to fly an interdictor, anchor a warp disruption bubble, or fly an interceptor which can lock on to frigates in 1 second, you're not going to have much luck with your gatecamp.
When you can fly a ship that can tank all the damage my team can throw at you, we're not going to be winning that fight.
Gatecamps hardly require strategy or tactics.
Most PvP occurs at gates...

Now that the playing field isn't so tilted in my favor I have no recourse but to whine on the forums.

Does the OP hope that CCP will be able to APPEASE EVERY SINGLE EVE PLAYER TO THEIR SATISFACTION OR SHOULD THEY JUST FOCUS ON APPEASING JUST HIS VISION OF EVE. I mean christ!
In the beginning the core concept of Eve was... yes in the beginning, we are now -----> far from the begining and one day we will be -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> this far from the beginning, which will be somewhere quite different. If you want stability cryofreeze yuourself.
(first time i've cap blocked on forums, my apologies, but some people really are up their own *******s.)

No HE DOESN'T WANT EVE JUST TO SU.. huh caps seem pointless..it him, he wants it to be fair. Why should carebears get an easy ride, earning more isk-safer-getting more content, when people who actualling invole risk get less isk and seem to have less going for them. WIS-HUH?, fix sov/pos warfare and make low sec more rewarding first, then add all the fancy pointless stuff.
that is what he is saying
man some people cant read
Whatever you do they will find a way to risk free isk. You can't predict all outcomes of mechanic changes. If you could these forums would be full of flowers. I did read it...i don't agree with it.

Originally by: Bestofworst I'm a new player, barely over 30 days under my belt and I could say one of the things that drew me in was the ability to be apart of something huge and player made. I thought, even if it was my misfortune, it would be awesome to have a player Jam your ship and try to ransom it and your own life back to you, gave the ideas of making friends with pirates, having them help you stay safe in certain areas or deal with other pirates. Not having rats attack you every 30 minutes. Or maybe grouping up with other players to escort a hauler carrying precious materials needed to make a Titan for your corporation. Or the thought of a player run space with its own law system and a (I'll be it cheesy) player ran concord type force.
I still enjoy the part of the game I play and since I havn't experienced all of it I will just have to wait. This is 100x better than anyhting else I've played and the scale is massive. I can't wait to step into 0.0
WTS some of this to Rells...like said earlier you have a case of nostalgia...play something else this isn't "your" game.

Originally by: Ephemeron I kinda wonder if there is a line that CCP will not cross for money.
Just how low they are willing to set the standards for game difficulty and harshness in order to expand the subscriber base with more cowardly and ******ed people?
Is there still a point where you can say "sorry, but you are too dumb to play this game"? Or is it more like "oh sorry to hear that you are having difficulty, let us modify the game to make it more accessible for people with your kind of disability"
I dunno, but sometimes I just feel like roasting the carebears over camp fire, while they scream about EULA and how the world can't go on without them
Keep on raging at that invisible enemy.
